Dear Roosevelt Families,
Welcome to all of our students and families as we start the 2016-2017 school year!
We are excited to see everyone! We also want to welcome our new staff members, including myself, Megan Vickery, as your new principal. I have worked for Vancouver Public Schools for 16 years, first as a classroom teacher, then as an associate principal at McLoughlin Middle School before accepting the position at Eleanor Roosevelt Elementary. I am excited to meet the wonderful families of our school and be a part of the teams that support the learning of your children.
The teacher teams and support staff, from kindergarten to grade 5 are already working and planning to make sure your children have a great start and a successful school year. Our new kindergartners are finishing up their third week of Jump Start and are ready for the first day of school!

Classroom Placement:
If you attend Back to School Night you will know your teacher and classroom. Otherwise, the class lists will be posted on a large whiteboard at the school entrance.
