They hail from 47 different countries and speak 25 different languages, but they all have one thing in common—friendship. They are the students of Eleanor Roosevelt Elementary School, and they will celebrate International Friendship Day with an all-school assembly.

Where: Eleanor Roosevelt Elementary School, 2921 Falk Rd.

During this celebration, Roosevelt will honor students’ diversity, cultures and friendships. Student performances will include dances from Mexico, Russia, Africa, Tahiti, South Korea and the United States. Flags from all 47 countries will be presented. The school will give out awards to students for building international friendships and being school ambassadors.

This event is free and open to the public.
