Library PAGES

Love to read? Want to help?

Fourth and fifth graders are invited to join Library PAGES. Please contact Ms. Yokers to apply.

Athletics are a fun way for students to learn sportsmanship and get needed exercise. Students can participate in sports at Roosevelt.  Sports for 4th and 5th grade girls and boys are:

  • fall – volleyball
  • winter – basketball
  • spring – track

Boys and Girls Club

The Boys and Girls Club offers after-school and summer programs for school-age students. The O.K. Clubhouse is located at the nearby Jim Parsley Community Center, just a short walk from Roosevelt Elementary School.  This serves grades 1-5.

Safety Patrol

Roosevelt 5th-graders have an opportunity to show their responsibility and leadership as a member of the school safety patrol. Working with adults, the safety patrol helps students and parents to safely cross nearby streets before and after school. Interested students may apply with paraeducator Melinda Lindner.

Student Leadership Team

Roosevelt students in grades 3–5 can apply for the student leadership team. The team of motivated girls and boys are responsible for daily school announcements and school spirit activities. See Ms. Kelly, Counselor, with questions by emailing
